All lights on VIP2250 DVR box are flashing simultaneously
The old message covering this issue was closed for comments, but it is still relevant.
June 2021. We had a power failure here and when the power was restored the three lights (green, blue and red) were flickering/flashing. Trying various rebooting procedures did nothing. (press power button for 10 seconds, press power button & OK button for 10 seconds, pull out the power cord for 30 seconds). Then I found this website and the tip was to disconnect and discard the two piece power line and replace it. BINGO, it now works perfectly again and all the recorded content (600+ shows) on my self-hacked 1T HDD are still there!
