Why doesn't AT&T Reward Loyal Customers?

After my last promotion ended, I'm being told that my new bill will be $213.00 for Uverse and Internet.  RIDICULOUS!   Why does AT&T only offer NEW customers promotional pricing?  I've been with them for 12 years and I am CONSTANTLY trying to get a promotion or package deal.  Even if I am able to get a promotion, it is never as good as it would be if I was a new customer.  At this time, I am being told there are no packages or promotions that I would benefit from.  I guess they don't mind losing a loyal customer!! I believe loyal customers should receive the same, if not BETTER, promotional prices than new customers.

Thanks for posting your question. As with most providers, AT&Ts promotions are an introductory rate and designed to expire. On this page you will find a section labeled U-verse TV Hot Topics and a link called Promotions Expiring within that section. Click on that, you will find additional information about promotions and options available to you regarding pricing.

Obviously I know that promotions expire. My question, which was simply stated, was why doesn't AT&T reward or appreciate their loyal customers?

I don't need you to point me to an article about promotions expiring. In fact you trying to point me in that direction proves that AT&T doesn't care about loyal customers.

Hi @TxDeeva,

 

We do offer reward cards with some promotions when you sign up and we do offer movie coupons for our members here. We also have our AT&T Thanks program here

 

We do not have any information if or when this is going to be expanded. You can also log into your account at att.com. Sometimes there are special promotions available there that are not available to other members.

When you keep choosing ATT, and you keep seeing they offer some better price for new customer. So you need to close your old ones and open again. Those actions above is how we say as you don't appreciate the customer loyalty. And why you don't offer the price match for new and old customers. Clear?
