Why does AT&T always try to overcharge?

Does anyone else have problems with At&t trying to overcharge you every month on your bill? I am having to call almost every single month for them to correct my bill when I am being overcharged. They are also always saying that I am receiving "prorated" charges. I am confused on how I receive prorated charges from them almost every month. I have been a customer for almost two years but thinking of switching to Time Warner because of At&T's dishonesty to loyal customers.

Yes, I have been over charged 26 payments. I worked out of town a lot and very seldom get mail.  When I recently opened the mail, I noticed AT&T had put a second line and was charging $43.71 for second line that have no usage at all.

AT&T representatives have completed several claims requesting my refund but I still have not gotten my money.  I have been with them so long, and have never missed a payment.  I would think they would give my money back to me. they admit wrong but have not put my money back in my bank account. this is shameful.

I take pride in hustling to put money in my bank account so my bills will clear.  It is disheartening to think how loyal I have been in a pandemic and no job or unemployment.
AT&T seems to NOT care about my loyalty.

Hi, @LADONNAWALKER, we'd be glad to look into this billing issue.

What service type are you referring to?

We see that you commented on a post for U-Verse TV, but you said you were charged for a second line, which sounds like you're referring to phone service.

Please clarify so we can properly assist you.

I'll keep this open for now, but in the future, please don't respond to threads over a year old. It's ok to start a new thread.
