Waiting .zzzzzBS

I paid balance in full at 4;30 pm was on the phone for 54 mi utes after payment made… I thought waiting on tech support…. Just to have him after multiple “hold on”s….. he said “ I have sent a call to the special tech & Im gonna try to get this reconnected here in a few, but it could be 24 hours!” My gosh it takes a what maybe 60seconds to disconnect!! Here it is almost MN & no internet connection period!!🥵

We do see that you made the payment and post yesterday, has your service been restored since this post? If not, we recommend that you reset your gateway and the receiver. You can do so by following these steps:

  • For the receiver: Reset the receiver by holding down the POWER button on the front of the receiver for 10 seconds. The reset takes 5 to 8 minutes
  • For the gateway: Unplug the power cord from the back of your gateway or modem. If you have: 
    • An internal battery backup, remove it
    • DSL, unplug the phone cord from your modem or gateway
  • Wait 20 seconds.
  • Put the internal battery back in if you have one. 
  • Plug the power cord back in. And, if you have DSL service, reconnect the phone cord.
  • Wait up to 10 minutes for the gateway or modem to restart and your Broadband light to turn solid green.

You can also check to see if you are in any current outages as well.
