U-verse mobile app
I recently installed the latest U-verse app, version 6.6.2 build 120, on my iPhone. It no longer keeps me logged in for more than an hour,even when I check the box to keep me longed in. The previous version did not make me check a box to stay logged in and it never logged me out. Also the remote control function no longer work. It tells no receivers are not set up and when I try to set them up it says “U-verse wireless gateway not found” but I know my phone is using my U-verse wireless gateway.I have even turned off cellular to force Wi-Fi, but it still does not work.
Here are the things I have tried .
- upgrade iPhone to latest iOS, 16.2
- deleted and reinstalled the U-verse app
- Power cycled every U-verse device, receivers, gateway, etc
- Power cycled phone
- Changed my U-verse password
What else can do to fix these problems

I upgraded iOS to 16.3, but the U-verse app still does keep me logged in. Then:
-I deleted and reinstalled the U-verse app,
-deleted my cache
-power cycled the iPhone and then all the U-verse devices, receivers, gateway, etc. - -changed my account password
-deleted any other apps that were running
And it still does not work
Also when I try to setup the receivers it still fails saying “U-verse wireless gateway cannot be found”.
I also have the U-verse app version 6.6.2 build 120 installed on my iPad. It is still running iOS 15.6.1. The U-verse app also does not keep me logged in, but the remote control functions work.
Everything with the U-verse app on both devices before this upgrade to version 6.6.2 build 120.
