TV uverse
I have been an att customer for 20 years, and want to keep my u-verse plan along with my phone, and internet services, but you are trying to make me pay $65 more next month because of some kind of promotion that has expired, and I want the discount back

Discounts are NOT perpetual (unending). You can call CS and SEE if they are willing to apply some sort of discount but bear in mind that Uverse TV is being phased out so they really have no reason to offer a discount.

Thanks for the insight, I wonder if they have the same as u-verse plans? I want the ability to stop, rewind, and record live TV, plus have a favorite button for all my favorite channels.
Does anyone know?

Uverse plans are unchanged. Prices go up annually and when a discount is discontinued.

I meant - is there any plans like u-verse?, such as direct, or streaming plans.
that have the ability to stop, rewind, and record live TV, plus have a favorite button for all my favorite channels.

All of these are great questions @cardyman! We would love to point you in the right direction to get them answered.
Now when it comes to billing and discounts or promotions, most promotions do have a time limit that is set, such as 3,6 or even 12 months. Once those promotions have reached their expiration date, they fall off the account and the bill for the service raises to the amount plus the discount amount.
So with that being said, for you to see if there are any more discounts available we suggest, just like our ACE @skeeterintexas suggested that you can call our Customer Service at 1-800-288-2020 to see if there are any promotions and or discounts available. Now we may not have the exact one still active, but we can find something similar to help bring that bill back down.
Now, as for your question about different plans. U-Verse TV is a Wireline service, which means there is no streaming option for that. However DirecTV has streaming option that you can take a look at. DirecTV Stream(formally AT&T TV/Now is a streaming only option. You can keep your current internet us that. To find out for information about DirecTV Stream, please use the fore mentioned link and check it out. That site has lots of information as well as information on what is required to get the service and you can also order it directly from that site as well.
If you have any more question, please reach out us again.

What a crock of "you know what"! Running off long time customers over a few $ is maddening. AT&T was the one promoting U-Verse and now that we use it, AT&T wants to tack advantage of current customers. Sound a lot like a COMCAST business plan.
The current AT&T bundle plans are not very appealing!

Thanks for that, I have canceled U-Verse , and have sling now, but if you do this, you should buy the new LG TV's with the new remote that is made to use streaming platforms like I did.
I am really happy with Sling, plus it's only $34 for 8 TV's
