They are ripping people off

So in December 2021 we decided to drop u-verse and just stay with the internet. I returned the equipment to my local UPS. Next thing I know I’m being charged for unreturned equipment. I chatted with someone online who told me she saw that I did in fact return it and I would get a credit on my next billing cycle. Well surprise surprise my next bill come and sure enough I did not receive the credit. I chat again with someone else who basically tells me the same thing as the previous representative did. So again I wait until my next bill. Once again my next bill come and still no credit. I chat again with someone else who now tells me they have no idea where the equipment is and have to open a case!!! I provided my receipt info from UPS and everything and still they tell me I have to wait for an investigation. I then speak to a supervisor who had 0 customer service skills and she basically tells me I’m (Edited per community guidelines) out of luck and just have to wait and see what the investigation comes up with. I explain to her that this is so wrong how you all are ripping me off. If this was money they were owed for months my service would of been cut off but here I’m owed money and they don’t care what so ever!!! I’m so fed up and disgusted with AT&T and now after reading through this forum. I see that they do this all the time!

File a complaint with the BBB.   Those are handled by someone in the executive office.  You should receive a call.  Have all of your confirmation information ready.
