The U-verse App no longer works on my iPhone

I have an iPhone 12 with update 15.2.1 and my U-verse app doesn’t work. I tried resetting my password. That didn’t help. It works fine on my iPad but it won’t work on my iPhone Any one else have this issue?

Hopefully you’ve spotted by now some of the numerous threads on the same topic.   

Login to the att.com website, go to the profile section, track down your correct U-verse member ID and use only those credentials.   If you’re temporarily locked out of that ID, create a subaccount and use those credentials.   A link to manage subs should be easily visible.

Unfortunately it’s not working for my iPhone 12. It works fine on my iPad. But I keep getting an error massage that says “please use your U-verse member ID/email to log in. I’ve tried my member ID and I’ve tried my email. I’ve reset my password. Nothing works since I did the last two iPhone updates. This is so frustrating.

I finally got it to work but ONLY by setting up a sub account. That’s completely unacceptable and frustrating. AT&T definitely needs to fix this problem. Customers should not have to go through this hassle just to use the app. I feel awful for people who don’t have access to the forum because AT&T customer support was ZERO help whatsoever. Only going through the forum and reading through the threads helped me resolve this issue. Total nightmare. Do better AT&T!

Well, you’ve achieved what apparently many others cannot, so good on you.  

I’d also check and ensure your primary U-verse member ID is not linked to other accounts.  After you’ve done that, it may take some time for the lockout on those credentials to clear, but I suspect you’ll be able to use them onceagain.  

I very much agree and have mentioned to my contacts that Att handled this change very poorly.
