So disappointed

I’ve been a customer for 13 years, got my parents, sister, and 3 friends to go att.

And now I have had so many issues with my service that I am so embarrassed to have ever recommended att.

I’ve lost service at least a dozen times  in the past year. I’m on my 4th dvr/cable box. Customer service is a joke- they are nice, but can’t really fix anything. A manager was supposed to call me twice and never did. 
DO NOT GO WITH ATT- better off getting a fire stick and paying for each channel you want.

AT&T stopped selling their U-Verse TV service. They are focusing on their other TV providers. Though support for it would understandably be dwindling, remember they are short staffed because of the pandemic. That has resulted in a degradation of support (techs on sight, background maintenance, customer support agents, etc.) across all their services. Hopefully in the coming months they will be restoring back to normal service levels (from people who actually want a job and not thinking they are getting more from unemployment).

If you want assistance from other customers, then post specific details about the technical issues you are having and others can try and give guidance. Otherwise to discuss your departure you call AT&T. The only departures that most of us need announced are at the airport or train station.

Personally I won’t make excuses for att, pandemic or not.  I see their presence every day, and they are not absolved of their obligations to support a paid for service.  

@shobzek perhaps sharing some more details will get you help.  Throwing hardware at a problem doesn’t always fix a situation like yours.  In fact, I’d argue Uverse hardware is extremely reliable.

I agree they have improvements to make. Just pointing out they like many other businesses are still recovering from the pandemic and this is a service that is no longer offered. So those are challenges in addition to anything they need to do better at.

But I do wish other posters would describe the actual issue they are having instead of just complaining it is bad without context. With info then a resolution could be found. Without that people are just complaining to the wind.
