RF remotes

Trying to upgrade remotes to RF remotes instead of the IR I currently have. No one at att has any ideal how to do this.

This has to be the most incompetent service I have ever seen.  They transfer you from department to department and no one knows what they are talking about.

Has anyone used the rf remotes? How do you get them?

When I was an installer all remotes were IR.  rF was not an option

The U-verse RF remotes were special order during my time in the field; the garage never had them in stock. I remember that they had a poor reputation and were considered buggy and not very reliable. No idea if AT&T still offers this, but you can still find them on Amazon and eBay.

As the others have posted, AT&T never provided RF remotes out of the box.  The RF remotes were always something you had to order.  The implementation was an RF remote with an USB-powered RF receiver that rebroadcast the received command via IR.
