Hello @ssandra58, that’s not what we want to see, let’s get this issue looked into.
Since this is in regards to a stolen rewards card, the best number to call would be our rewards center number at 877-258-1427, between 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. ET, as they can help you further with your issue.

I tried calling and was told there was nothing could be done except filing a police report. i dont know what type information was needed to activate the card apparently it was very easy. we are left with nothing to do but accept the loss of the rewards cards. this is unacceptable because this person has enjoyed rewards that were not theirs. i want to stop them so they wont do this to someone else. there should be a department to help customers with this and better safety measures in place so they cannot activate the cards so easily.

Yes their very easy to set up in someone else name and change the pin. I lost my 200 reward card and At&t couldn't even track it. I went online and checked my balance and seen that someone set it up in a fake name and used the card.
Then 2 weeks later i found a Rewards card on the ground and i went online and did the same thing someone did to my card. Well......(Edited per community guidelines) they did it to me, so its my turn. I actually changed the user name to a fake name (NOT MY REAL NAME) and change the password and the pin. And WHAM I WAS ABLE TO USE THE CARD.

I am beyond angry with this reward card it is a JOKE !! I NEVER received my card in the mail someone must have got it in their mailbox. My irritation is that all the (Edited per community guidelines) had to do to activate the card is give them the zip code which is on the front of the freaking envelope it came in! HOW STUPID is this??? So I called card services they told me too bad so sad, file a police report- as if the police give a crap! and have time to chase down the mailman and see if he accidentally put it in the wrong mailbox! I complained about the ease of activating the card. Pretty sad I have to just about give my blood type to set up the card account but all the (Edited per community guidelines) had to do to activate my card is give my zip code which again was on the front of the envelope. All that was left was $30 out of $150 plus I had to pay $7 to get a new card issued to me. Gee thanks so much AT&T for your great reward card program and security. Such a JOKE!!

Hey this is David am texting you from AT&T. AT&T mailed you 3 visa rewards worth of @250+@50+$200 for account XXXXXXX! so we just want to confirm with you have you received it or not. For more guidance please contact on same number.
Thank you
How does he know my info? He used all my rewards balance! Called to AT&T reward center they told me they can not reissue the reward card & AT&T never text & call you!
Not sure what to do!

Same issue ⚠️ with me; my rewards are gone. It seems like this company doesn't want to stop those scammers. It should be easy to set up a trap for them. In the mean time, they are still out there stilling money from more people, and this company does nothing.

Recently switched over to At&T from Cox cable, due to a rewards incentive program, so I decided why not give them a shot and get a couple of bucks. The At&t service representative said that I would receive a $200 rewards card for switching to their service, so I went forward with the new service. A day later I get an email about the rewards card, buy it was for $150. Ok, not the amount promised, but it's still $150. A month after I check for the rewards card on my email and find the link to claim the money, yes! I click the link to access the card information, and it says that the card had already been activated and there was no money on the card. I called the At&t rewards center, and they told me that they are sorry that my card was stolen and to call the cops. I have a camera system and it records everyone who approaches my front door. No one stole any mail, packages, or anything else. I ask the representative what information someone needed if they in fact took the card out of my mailbox, which they didn't, and she said that they needed the account zip code. I told her that if they mailed it then the zip code is on the letter. What kind of protection is that if someone got ahold of it? She had no answer, and told me that I should file a police report. I asked her for proof that the card was mailed and actually made it to my address and she said that their bank does the mailing so she didn't have any information, nor could she give me the information of the bank which distributed the cards. She then stated that the website says that at&t are not responsible for lost or stolen cards. I asked to speak to her supervisor, who told me the same thing and was unable to give me proof that the card was sent to my address. The supervisor then transfered me to her boss, who conveniently had "phone issues" and the call mysteriously disconnected. I researched the internet and found out that this has happened to many people, and there was a (Edited per community guidelines) (Edited per community guidelines) for similar issues, yet at&t has still not changed it's card distribution policy to protect the rewards cards beneficiaries. At&t needs to investigate who is taking these cards from either their location or via the distribution center. So now I lost the $150 promised, which isn't going to break my bank, but I definitely won't be doing business with them anymore. So anyone who is promised a cash rewards card, I wouldn't count on it. Do a quick Google search.
