Retention Offer not being offered by support
Hi,
I received an offer for $60 off my monthly service for the next 12 months through the retention department because we were going to cancel our service. However, this is not being honored due to poor communication and setting of expectation by your customer service staff. I have made numerous calls this morning, spent hours on hold/being lied to, and am currently on the line with supervisor, Crystal (EDITED). She has failed to uphold the agreement, and we're fed up. We ARE cancelling and getting Spectrum. We've been customers for almost a decade... We will never get AT&T UVerse again.

This is 100% true, whether you want to or not. AT&T is no longer accepting new U-verse TV subscribers.

Call me Cynical Sue but I find it hard to believe that they gave a $60/month DISCOUNT for a service that is no longer being offered.

It was a typo... they are not HONORING the $60 credit per month they OFFERED for one month. I wouldn't spend my time typing out a message if it wasn't true. Regardless, it's a horrible customer service experience, which is why we're cancelling.

Keep in mind these things can take 1-2 billing cycles to show up, depending on when you call.
I got a $20 credit that actually appeared on two bills, due to the time in my billing cycle when it was applied.
