REFUND ALERT!!!

BEWARE!!!  ATT sent my refund after I closed my TV account (because of high cost & poor service) and apparently they send a loaded debit card?  Really really wish they had just sent a regular check like everyone else.  There were no "stop limits" on their "refund" debit card and I wasn't continually checking to see how much I had remaining (why would I need to).  Now, I owe some random company named "Northlane" $31.38!  They're threatening to take me to collections if I don't pay.  I'll never quite figure out how I ended up in collections from my refund.  Thanks alot ATT!.
