Property Damage- Assigned ATT Engineer Unresponsive to Claim
Hi,
I've posted here before, but I live next door to an ATT utility box and the land it's on is not maintained- weeds overgrown, debris, urine, etc. that drifts onto my property. I've been trying to get this cleaned up (and the fence moved to stop folks from accessing the area) since last fall. An ATT engineer was assigned but he hasn't done anything (according to his colleagues) and stopped answering my calls back in March. Is there anyone else I can go to? Short of suing ATT (which I am considering because my property is losing value), what can I do?
Thanks

Report the problem to your municipal/city code enforcement.

Thanks @skeeterintexas. I've done that (my city has a hotline for reporting blight) and they say they can't regulate ATT. They suggested I contact the state commission that regulates utilities, but when I called I was told they also can't regulate ATT. They referred me to the FCC. The FCC rep said I could go ahead and file a complaint (which I did) but this is typically not what they handle. I feel like I've hit a dead end.

If equipment is damaged, downed, or exposed there is a report process directly through AT&T. Not sure if they would handle area not maintained if it is working without issue, but perhaps they could refer you from there.

Best to stick to the original thread as the forum moderators do have an issue with multiple threads for same issue.
