Paid Bill sent to Collections

Hello there,

I had a U-Verse pending balance of $139.69 that I paid in full on 10/27/2016, today I have received a collections letter from Sunrise Credit Services saying that this balance due has never been paid off.  Could you please explain why is this happening ??????

Have you provided proof to Sunrise Services that the bill was paid?

10/27 was just a few days ago. In fact, what was the date on the letter? It wouldn't surprise me if it was mailed before you made the payment. 

 

Now that you've made the payment, AT&T should notify the collection agency the bill's been paid. If you receive further correspondence you might need to send them a receipt, but honestly, I don't think that's likely.

Hi there,

I haven't talked to Sunrise Financial Services.  

I was told to not call them since this could create a bigger problem.

I am awaiting for a response from ATT but it seems nobody cares, I haven't received a call nor an official email.
