No prorateing on cancel service.
Only used service 1 day into next billing cycle after canceling service and was charged full month. Was told by customer service that they no longer prorate on a cancel service. Why are there no warning about this new new way of doing business?
Yeah this company is steeling money from there customers.

It would be my guess that no one reads the terms of service. Im sure the company you work for knows this.

How long have you had the service... the no pro rate is not a new way...the changes to billing occurred in January 2019, about 3.5 years ago.
AT&T will no longer offer prorated credits to those who cancel certain services before the end of their billing period, as spotted by Ars Technica. The change will go into effect on January 14th, 2019, and will apply to DirecTV, U-verse TV, AT&T Phone, AT&T Internet, and Fixed Wireless Internet accounts.
listed December 2018

Ive been doing business with ATT for as long as i can remember...Frankly haven't really worried about such things as cancellation procedures. Like you said, all providers probably have the same cancellation rules, wouldn't know. Like i said there should be a up front warning during the process of cancellation and any other process as important as this, for those of us who don't read these agreements before every change we make.
