You can use the online address checker to determine what if any service might be available.Equipment is market/ state specific so you will need to return all current receivers and gateway for your market.
As Uverse IPTV is no longer offered would need to consider DirecTv satelllite or DirecTv Streaming. Internet service may or may not be an option.
Yes, as long as staying in same market… customer would take existing equipment to new address.
Moving to a different market equipment needs to be returned
Unsure if would be able to order Uverse IPTV in the new market as existing customer in different market. OP would need to call to verify, if moving to a market / address that would be supported.
Have seen accounts moving from FTT / FTTP to ADSL2+ addresses (18 or less) where keeping IPTV is not an option nor would DirecTv Stream be an option, only DirecTv Satellite service. In these cases the customer has generally moved to local provider instead of accepting downgraded facilities.
I am moving to St Cloud, Florida. I doesn't appear, from my research, that U-verse serves that area, so I'm forced to switch to the only one that serves my new neighborhood - Spectrum (not looking forward to it). Now to find out how to return my equipment when the time comes.
you need to drop it off with a participating fedex or ups store,(not all are participating) make sure you have your account number and get a tracking number ,they will pack and ship it at no charge to you below are links to find a participating center, if you are more than 10 miles from a participating center then call and inform them your more than ten miles from a participating location and they will send boxes and labels.

I thought that customers were still able to transfer U-verse TV between addresses.

St Cloud, FL is in Century Link's service area, so no AT&T wired service, and thus no U-verse TV.
