Mailing Address for ATT Customer Service

I wish to send a letter to AT&T which is too detailed for Live Talk or telephone contact. Where can I send a snail mail or e-mail to AT&T that addresses rates and other charges?

We do not have an official mailing address, but you can always reach out to us through our support channels.

Also, we have our experts ready to help on the AT&T Community Forums, so feel free to ask a question.

I am trying to set up online payment for my voice/internet Uverse payment but I cannot find the billing address, which is needed to set up online billing through Bank of America. I have my account number but not the billing address.

Why doesn't ATT / AT&T have support email address ?

My thoughts:

- ATT doesn't want it customers to have a proof of their conversations or complaints they raise with support teams

- ATT stays in win-win situation by recording all voice calls, which are under ATT's control

- ATT can avoid fulfilling a promise made by one sales/support representative to get you off their back, because you as a customer can't do anything about it

ATT has been having discrepancies in their U-Verse billing, miss-leading with 6-month / 1 or 2 yearl promotions; only to come back later and hike the price / fee for their services without adding any value.

Please share your thoughts / suggestions.

Thanks for reading / comments.

I would like to be helped with the need of an address to send a letter about my current bill that customer service caused. I now have no phone service at my request. My only means is to write to someone to address the bill.

They have missrepresented packages, timelines, service, fees to me on multiple occasions. Last communication I was told an escalations manager was on my case and would be calling me by no later than August 31, and that my account would be credited for minimum 6 months of overpayment.  No one has called. I've spent hours and hours on the phone and via chat trying to rectify this problem. I would have cancelled my service but I need internet for my home based business and unfortunately they are the only option in my area. I am currently filing a complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs and if they are unable to resolve this for me I will be filing in Small Claims Court.  This is unacceptable, company is utterly crooked.

I was moving from my old place to a new place and ATT Rep made me get all new equipment to my old place and my new place.  I called to complain about Rep selling me all new equipment when I moved to a new house instead of just transferring to old equipment but was given the run around and transferred from one person to another for almost an hour.  Finally I was given an email to write to.  It was attcustomercare@att.com.  Of course I sent an email to that address detailing my complaint.  Guess what?!  I came back undeliverable!  Unbelievable that this type of tactic is being employed by a large corporation here in America!

I have been trying to get an issue resolved in which ATT open a new account which I did not authorize.  Now I'm being billed for bogus charges.  Although several people at ATT acknowledge the charges were done in error ATT continues attempting to collect.  I was given an email address of attcustomercare@att.com by the rep on the phone which was bogus.  My email was returned undeliverable.  Unbelievable that a US company would employ such shady tactics.

This has been my experience as well. I was told I could upgrade to an unlimited mobile plan with a savings of $80 per month. I was skeptical, since all previous unlimited offers increased my mobile bill, so I made the representative go through every line of my bill. She told me the mobile total would decrease from $201.22 to $124.17. She even sent a text with her name on it thanking me for the upgrade. When, after two months, my mobile bill actually went up, not down, I attempted to contact customer service. After 3 hours, 12 different people, getting disconnected twice ("Is this a good number to contact you") I was told the escalation group would contact me in 3 days. Two weeks later I tried again. I was told there was nothing they could do except revert me to my prior plan. When I continued to protest, I was given a one-time $20 credit. We shall see. My next step is a letter to the FCC and the Better Business Bureau with the list of every person I spoke to. Fraudulent misrepresentation is a crime. They know who did this but nobody is held responsible.

I am amazed at all these complaints about AT&T.  I sure know to be very, very careful in the future.  I was told that I could have internet service for $10.00 a month if I switched to Direct TV, (owned by AT&T now)

The government should never have allowed AT&T to expand.  Now I discovered AT&T does not even offer internet service in my area. AT&T is not above fraud and scams
