Loyalty program lies and scam

On 02/21/2017 when my contract period was up, I called to cancel and "Charles" from the Loyalty dept. offered me a bundle for $110.00 a month for internet, phone, and tv for 12 months. He quoted the price several times. I then got a bill for $318.00, which I paid, as I thought the bill had gotten confused due to all the changes. The next bill was $324.00 and I called ATT and was told they had no record of a contract for 110.00. I cancelled everything except Internet, and now they are sending me a bill for the $324.00. We only had the phone for about one week. I had my bill paid in full when I made the original change for the bundle. Blatant lies and scams. Unbelievable how bad it is. We have been with them for 5 or 6 years.

i was promised 3 gift cards totaling $250.00. Also an Amazon Show. I received the first one @ $100 and nothing else. when i call to ask, they say they expire after 3 months of service. I have only had the service 2 months, so when i tell them I've only had it for 2 months, they then say i was only eligible for one. i am ready to cancel my service!

My wife and I have been ATT Wireless customers since the early 2000's.  We have had DirecTV for two years.  We have had an ATT landline since 1987!  I want to purchase an iPhone XS Max for my wife.  ATT programs require that we purchase another line.  I am 76 and my wife is 69.  We don't really need another line!  I've talked with ATT Loyalty Service several times.  They are telling me they have no authority to dropped the line charge, even in the face of dropping two lines of service because our only real option is to transfer our service to Verizon.  I have been in sales most of my life and this is the dumbest concept created.  There is zippo for customer loyalty.  And, our DirecTV contract is up in 6 weeks!  Guess what we are going to do there!  We love DirecTV but I guess we must forget about loyalty and always go for the best deal!  ATT, goodbye!

We to were given a bunch of lies from AT&T loyalty program and when we did not receive what they had told us on the phone my mother and I both heard what the lady said, her name was Laquisha or Taquisha something like that. We called to say that every month our phone bill keeps going up and we just don't understand why and we would like to close the account and go somewhere else as it is way to expensive for 2 phones with limited data, like 2 gigs of data and our phones are paid for we have had this account for about 4 to 5 years and we have old phones as they never offer us any upgrades or anything. I am so sick and tired of these people who make ungodly amounts of money and have not a clue what it is like to have to pay 160 to 180 dollars for 2 phone lines, not even 5G for one month. I am (Edited per community guidelines) as this girl told us she was going to discount the service to 69.99 a month for the first month and then it would be 49.99 per month after that on a loyalty program. That is a lie and is not true at all. I would call back and ask why the bill is still over 160.00 and they said they have no record of my mother and I speaking to them. That is (Edited per community guidelines). Excuse my french but my word this is the worst I have been treated for being a good customer with  concerns of an overpriced phone bill. I was also told we would receive 2 new phones the latest iphones as ours are iphone7's and that never happened either. You people at AT&T need to get your (Edited per community guidelines) together and stop telling people that you are going to do this or that and then play dumb when we call back and call you out for your lies. Get real and do the right thing. I am not a nice guy and I am not afraid to say that. I am a gulf war veteran and I would appreciate it if you did not tell me (Edited per community guidelines) as I went through enough (Edited per community guidelines) during the war. I only want what you said to my mother and I for the billing. You said it not me. Also the phones. I really don't care if you can or can't do it because you should do what you say you are going to do and that is the bottom line. You guys (Edited per community guidelines)! I will close this account tomorrow if I don't receive any feedback from this post. Really you need to stop with the lies and do the things you say you will do. I don't appreciate the run around one bit.
