Try troubleshooting your U-Verse receiver directly from your TV with these steps:

 

  • Press Menu.
  • Select Help > Information > Troubleshoot & Resolve > TV > DVR.    
  • Follow the onscreen prompts.

 

If you're still losing the connection, please provide the following details:

  • Your receiver model
  • Your Gateway model
  • If your Internet connection also cuts out
