I. C. System Collection Agency - Unknown Charge
Hi,
I have started receiving calls, as well as a letter, from I. C. System Collection agency regarding an unpaid bill for less than $30 more than three years ago. The caller cannot give me anymore information than that. We have had ATT services bundled for many years, and all of the charges are auto-deducted monthly. Additionally, the charge (which they cannot specify) is for service at a residence where we no longer live. Upon selling that home, we confirmed with ATT that all of our accounts related to that home were closed and in good standing.
Is I.C. System a scam, or is your billing system several years behind schedule? Before the agency contacted me, I never received anything related to this charge from ATT.
Please advise how to proceed.

To look into the charge and make sure it's legitimate, please call our Collections department at 800-947-5096.
If there is an outstanding debt in our system, Collections will let you know how to proceed.

It seems to be legit, but as I'm just a customer, I can't give you any advice other than to call the number posted above.

I’ve never had UVerse in my life and they are ruining my credit , I got it resolved once and they did it again - It’s pure (Edited per community guidelines) and i’m (Edited per community guidelines)

why is it that so many people have to call to see if it’s legitimate? If At&t stops trying to make money by collecting on people and hoping they won’t notice that it’s (Edited per community guidelines) then you could save $ on employees

It has to be a scam since they have done it to my twice , I only ever had internet, that’s all, I had to look up what uverse was, I use antenna or netflix and before netflix , antenna only or rented things at blockbuster etc - so it’s so not right but the same is through At&t unfortunately- as unethical as sprint charging for a small game here and there that no one actually ordered , cuz people usually pay when it’s only a small change but x millions of people , and that’s a (Edited per community guidelines) of a scam
