how do I get a refund for duplicate tv services?

Att has billed me in a criminal manner and I am going to draft up 5 criminal indictments related to this abuse, as well as complain to state and federal regulators about your behavior.

They billed me for the same period of days of service (U-verse 300 and basic internet) with 2 different account numbers and claim to have delivered that service, and continue to deliver that service, to the same gateway, same IP address, and the same physical address. Why should I have to pay for 2 identical services delivered to the same gateway?

Even though I was billed twice for U-verse 300, ATT denied that service, and only provided U-verse basic. How do they get away with that? Because they threatened me with disconnection if I did not pay all bills they send, and so I paid that.

I contend that ATT used these tactics to collect debt from a dead person by harassing the family of that decedent. This behavior is illegal in Texas as far as I know.

I also contend that the company knowingly did these things in order to punish me, a living person who does not have any outstanding charges on my account with ATT, because I downgraded an expensive U-verse package.

It is fairly obvious that ATT does not want me as a customer, nor do they respect me as a citizen of the USA. Yet they constantly harass me with advertising about other products they peddle. They must consider me to be and (Edited per community guidelines) (I feel like a sucker) and I will continue to put up with it.

I also contend that this behavior amounts to interstate wire fraud, possible violations of state PUC regulations, possible violations of federal consumer rights regulations, anti-monopoly regulations, and state laws prohibiting the harassment of families to collect debts from dead persons.

I intend to assert my rights and I insist on getting a refund.

Ok but your limited to binding arbitration. And this is a customer populated forum not AT&T. They don’t read the forums. At best you could be entitled to 3 months of billing errors.

Please review the LEGALLY BINDING TERMS OF SERVICE which includes the following in Section 11:

".....we each agree to resolve those disputes through binding arbitration or small claims court instead of in courts of general jurisdiction."
