Does AT&T offer any financial assistance for customers?

In August, I lost my job of 15 years from my church because of my deterioration of health. I am 62 years old and in chronic pain. My tv and internet are the only things that make a long day...a little shorter. I heard that ATT has financial assistance for people that are in a hardship in their lives. Because of the virus, I was told that ATT provides service until May for people that need help. But, I don't know from then on.

If anyone has any info or phone numbers, email addresses, etc. - please help.

Thank you.

As stated, there is no financial assistance for TV as it is considered a luxury. You can get FREE Over the Air channels with an inexpensive antenna.

For internet, AT&T has a low cost program for SNAP (food stamps) recipients called Access from AT&T. More information >> HERE <<

there is no such program for financial assistance for any amount of time for hardships. tv is considered a luxury and non essential. you should call them and lower your programming to an affordable level

Thank you for explaining. I have called several times in the past to get it lowered and they tell me it would cost the same unless I just wanted "regular" channels. They started me at $90 for tv, internet and phone...and now it's $180. But if tv is a luxury...I guess we're all "luxurious". Gotta keep a sense of humor in these times :) Thanks again.
