Do you wait until the end of the billing cycle to cancel service?

I canceled cable service 9 days ago and received a confirmation number. After this month, I am not paying any more ATT cable bills. Do you all wait until the end of the billing cycle to cancel service? I am not paying for cable service after March 12 when I called to cancel. I’ve tried to reach a representative over the phone and chat with no luck. I do not want any special offers. Please cancel the cable and keep the internet as I stated nine days ago.

Per the Terms of Service, AT&T no longer prorates partial months. Also, this is a user to user forum, not AT&T support. You'll have to chat or call 800.288.2020 to discuss. Be ready for long wait times.

Their customer service (Edited per community guidelines). Of course I’ve tried those methods already. Thanks for the info. I’ll check my end of billing cycle date. Your comment about prorating was more helping than anything I get after waiting for them for 30+ minutes to figure things out.

That helps a lot since I’m not able to reach a human there.
