@shellof1969 it is unfortunate that you are no longer able to get any discounts from the TV provider that you have had for many years. But there are other TV providers. You could always switch to Directv Stream which is still in the AT&T family but it is internet based and has a much lower cost. You would just need a streaming device and a good internet connection.

Uverse TV wasn't around in 1989. Uverse TV was launched in 2006.

I have been with them since the begining and was just told the company is no longer offering discounts for uverse..
Thinking it's time to go somewhere and get a cheaper deal..

About 10-15 days ago, I was given a discount of $30 off TV for a year.
I'm also grandfathered in to having two wireless receivers at $0/mo and my internet 1000 is $60/mo.
Call them up during weekday hours. Politely threaten to cancel. If you don't get what you want, call back.
