Customer Service agents that are in the United States
AT&T, do you have a customer service phone number with agents that are located in the United States? I think there is communication barrier between customers in the U.S. and the agents who are not. I think they speak English pretty well, but some parts of the conversation are getting lost in translation per se and I am having a difficult time explaining my questions and issues with my service, billing, etc.

Hi
You can call 1800 288 2020 and have the representative transfer you to an onshore rep.

I have been researching my options w/att&DirecTV for days. Go with unlimited wireless plan NO-can't use hotspot-wait, get surface 3 or View?--- that would be 500 for a device and 65 more per month.... Hmmm.... Uverse was starting to look pretty good, besides uncertainty of price after 1yr agreement.... AND THEN I TRIED TO USE uverse CUSTOMER CARE.... NOT ENCOURAGING.

I hate AT&T. I can't get any help because all I get is an Indian guy or an Asian woman. They are so stupid they don't know anyting and each one gives you a different answer. If I call one more time about DirecTV now and they give me that number for DirecTV I'll go crazy. Why can't I get a white person or black person from the United States. AT&T does that so they can pay them cheap.

MY Advice... If you don't get results file a complaint with the FCC. ATT has to pay a fine every single time they are contacted by the FCC. TRUST ME, IT WORKS!!! I've filed a complaint and gotten calls directly from the Office of the President for ATT. GOOD LUCK!! https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us

I called (800) 288-2020 and asked then to connect me with a United State Rep. and they refused and after demanding it for the forth time they hung up. Same issue with the chat line.
I did a survey and it gave me a number to contact and that person was in the United States, but she couldn't help me so she forwarded me to the Off Shore people. It wasn't clear if she understood me because of her heavy accent and I know I didn't understand her. She developed an attitude because I asked her to repeat herself. I spent 3 hours getting nowhere. All I need is a new BBU to replace the worn out one.
