Customer Advocate Option?
We set up wireless, internet, and television service with Att prior to our transfer from the UK to the US last Summer. We were quoted a rate for our services and selected Att based on that rate.
There were some issues with the initial services set up, but that has been resolved. However, every month we have seen our rates increased. Each month, we have contacted the support centers and have spent at least an hour explaining the details while the support people would research our account notes. We have been given credits to bring the monthly charges back to the original quote. Last month a support manager offered to increase our internet speed for all of our issues and assured me it would not increase the originally quoted rates. Now there is a more significant increase in our monthly charges!
Is there a customer advocate department that I could reach out to so they could research the issue and have this be resolved once and for all?
Thanks

@ncbeck2015 Contact ATT Customer Care on the link in my signature below..
Send them a Private Message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your increasing price problems. They are available M-F 8am-11pm Eastern time (also around on weekends, FB Twitter Social Media Managers), response may take up to 2 business days.
This is not the regular CS/TS phone people, but the social media Community Specialists that know the people to contact to get things done and gone above and beyond for me. They can do more than any phone rep and stick w/it till it's done.
Include your name, account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.
Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉
Chris

It took well over a week for someone to get back to me from my private message. But, they did call me, researched the problem, and fixed it (thought I'll verify that next month when I get my bill).
Thanks for the tip!

Please don't respond to threads over a year old.
You can call AT&T at 800-288-2020 and ask for retentions or cancellations. If they offer you a promotion, they will not remind you when it expires. Put a reminder on a calendar, in a phone or write a note somewhere. Free upgrades won't revert to the old plan (example: Free HBO won't automatically cancel.)
As this is over a year old, it will now be closed.
