compliant against AT&T
I have been with AT&T for years. Little did I know they could take money from me. It happened....beware !
A few days ago, my bank had a draft from AT&T which I had not authorized/ It was a large amount. This draft meant I would have insufficient funds & other bills would start bouncing. I do not & never have had auto pay. I spent 6 hours calling, waiting for call back, speaking to 7 different rep. & 2 managers trying to resolve the issue.
I was told AT&T could not have accessed by banking acct. ( I owed money for ending my Direct TV early. I did this about 2 months ago when Direct TV increased the price I had been paying.)
AT&T did confirm that I did not have "auto-pay".
AT&T paid Direct TV so that I do not owe Direct TV but now owe AT&T for this payment plus my monthly bill for phone & internet. That was the amount they drafted from my bank not my monthly phone & internet charges.
They insisted they did not pull this money from my bank acct. & that I had paid it. I DID NOT !!! At the end of 6 hours of phone calls, I was crying thinking I was senile. I went to google chrome & pulled up all of the web sites I had been to for 3 weeks. Not once had I gone to AT&T...............proving I was not loosing my mind. .
I stopped the payment which cost me a bank fee of $30.00. AT&T DRAFTED MONEY FROM MY CHECKING ACCT. but no one would admit it. Has this happened to anyone else ? I now have a suspended acct. I did not intend on paying Direct TV.....even if it ruined my credit. They increased their charges so I left. It is that simple.
I want to file a compliant against AT&T for taking money from my bank without my permission. Believe me.....they have a way of getting into your personal banking. Has anyone else had this happen ? How do I file a compliant ??

My name is uvonda parks I am a att customer for over a year AT&T took five times $180 out of my account for items that have been returned on time they returned the money and put it back five times and they found the merchandise was at they’re at they’re at their home office I paid for the object to back each time they took $180 they made me late for my mortgage I’ve spent day in and day out trying to get help about the situation from one promise from promises and promises from different AT&T supervisors yesterday and operator of AT&T was so out done she looked at my account and (Edited per community guidelines) there she been so many return back to your account that this doesn’t even make sense she put me to the people that could help me this woman kept me on hold for two hours literally got on the phone and (Edited per community guidelines) hold on to our wish I could chat on the phone with friends in my living room and my husband are waiting on another phone after two hours they hung up she hung up I tried to call back another I’m sorry what department where you at I said the lady said that she left a note and this is been going on for over a year last year too this year taking money and put it back made me late on my Mortgage I have never been late with any of my AT&T account my phone cell phone Internet and phone and AT&T TV and they still choose to treat me this way the seriousness of my mortgage and my other bills and just the other day they compromise me again somebody please help me I’m looking for help I’m trying to find attorney my mortgage person told me to find a attorney that this was not right my heath has going worst with all the stress truly hurt by this company

I'm a very unsatisfied customer. I will be looking for another cell phone carrier. I had one phone and they charge under the insurance for having multiple phones. This happen for months.They only credited me for $70. This month my bill was $127.15. I didn't realize I did not an unlimited data plan. When I called they were undergoing maintenance and I could not change my plan. This is unacceptable.
My brother and his kids have iPhones and they have better plans then I do. I'm going to join his plan or look into verizon. I saw where I could get a mini iPhone and have a better plan. I'm still researching. AT&T has lost long time customer. I feel abuse and not respected.
