Can't unlink old TV Account
I recently signed up for AT&T TV after they made the changes to consolidate products last week, however AT&T was unable to add the service to my existing account for wireless & internet because of the presence of an old linked TV account that hasn't been used in over three years (back from the early DirecTV Now days). The account management website didn't provide any option to "reactivate" that old TV account, and the phone reps were unable to do anything with it to help, so they ultimately had to create a brand-new separate account and ID in order to get me setup with AT&T TV service. What was frustrating is that there's no option available to me on the AT&T website to delete or unlink the old TV account, and nobody on the phone or via the online chat could perform that action. It's almost as if the old TV account is stuck in some type of billing system (Edited per community guidelines) and will forever be a dead carcass linked to my main account! Has anyone else encountered a similar issue and been able to achieve any type of resolution with AT&T? I'm not able to link the new TV account/ID to my existing one for wireless/internet either because it shows an error message stating you can't have two TV accounts under the same ID. For now the separate accounts work at least to provide the services, but definitely not in the ideal convenient fashion of having everything bundled together.
