att u-verse app

I have the app on my I-pad. when I open the app I do not see all the tv channels. I cannot view any local channels???

Many people who have iPhones / iPads are complaining about missing channels.  I see no problems on the Android version of the app.

It is sporadic.  It comes and goes.  Never had this problem before. Yesterday I had all my channels, then this morning I was only getting the Starz channels.  When I checked again they were all back.  Very frustating.

Let's get your U-verse app working, @lcharms

 

We recommend following these U-verse app troubleshooting steps:

  1. Make sure you are using the correct member ID to sign in
  2. Restart the device.
  3. Delete cache. Varies on phone, browser or device operating system.
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the app
  5. Verify you have the latest software/ operating system on your phone or tablet 
  6. Turn off other apps that may be in use
  7. Make sure you have U-verse TV service and an appropriate package – if you do not have U-verse TV, you can see if it is available by signing into your account at att.com.
  8. Reset your password – This can help sync up your account.
  9. In some instances, restoring the phone has resolved app function. You may lose pictures and other data if this is performed. 
  10. Also, be sure to report/post a review in the applicable software store for your affected device to help address an issue.

If none of these tips help, please let us know if you're only able to view premium channels in the guide. We've noticed this is affecting multiple iOS users.

So it appears AT&T now knows about it. Hopefully a fix comes soon.

Not sure what you mean exactly about local channels, but besides a few exceptions, we’ve never been given the ability to watch locals in the app, just to see the programming schedule and manage recordings.  This should not be new news.  The same holds true for many other channels.  Some allow viewing of live streams and many others do not.

i am having the same issue. I can no longer view amc, tnt, tbs etc. this started when they pushed the new upgrade

I have restarted my device.  Which did not help.  I was able to view my local channels.

1002, 1003, 1007 etc.  Which is my local channels. Today it just keeps loading and I cannot even get the guide.  I also have the u450 u-verse package.  Hopefully they are working on this.
