ATT Email and Direct TV account the same??

Now when wanting to change my ATT email password I get the message:

"User ID has multiple accounts, which account do you want to change the password on"

AT&T ID

DIRECT TV ID

Any idea what is going on? I certainly don't have a Direct TV account......possibly many years ago I may have had their cable? I've had ATT Email for decades and never seen this message pop up. Is there a Direct TV Customer Call Center I can follow up with?

Did you try your att.net address and password?

DirecTV has never had cable.

DirecTV is a satellite TV service, not cable TV. 

AT&T no longer owns DirecTV. But after acquiring them a few years ago (and recently again with selling them off) there have been issues with the unified login.

If you cannot change on the website, then you should call support to get your online login completely reset so that you can have a different email/password between the two services.
