Apps not streaming on TV, saying I don't have a subscription to the channel when I do

I have tried to stream TV shows from the ABC and Bravo apps from my phone and every time it connects to my U-verse account, it says I don't have a subscription to the channel which I 100% do as we pay for U-450. What is there to do to resolve this?

02/24/2025 - I have a similar issue.  Using ATT U-verse internet, DirecTV Satellite, including various premium channel subscriptions, and Roku streaming device on a HD Television. This has been an issue for a year, or more.  The streaming app displays a message stating I need to subscribe to the app(s). 

In the past, I've needed to go online to the individual providers and type in a displayed code to reactivate streaming capabilities, and it was a pretty time consuming process that didn't always resolve the inability to stream my premium channels.  That stopped, and now I just get the "...need to subscribe..." message.

I've deleted and subsequently re-installed the streaming channels on my Roku device and via online multiple times, without resolution.  I'd like to know how common this is and what the fix is.  Thank you.

@dottiej  you posted in the U-verse TV section, but in your description you mention that you've got DIRECTV Satellite.  I suggest that you create a new post in the appropriate section (rather than replying to a 7-year-old post in the wrong section).

When you create this new post, expand upon what premium channel subscriptions you're speaking of and what tier of DIRECTV service you have that entitles you to the streaming services.
