Why did Directv drop first OAN and now NewsMax and keep two of the lowest ranked, least watched news stations (CNN & MSNBC)? Obviously AT&T is intent on pushing one viewpoint. It has become more and more obvious that they do not care what their customers with a more conservative viewpoint want to watch. With Directv having more and more problems with their programming (i.e., spikes, conflicts, slow streaming, freezing of recordings, slow responses, etc.) and the substantial increase of choices of streaming suppliers, it should be obvious what their customer base will do... and that is with long-standing, many accounts customers like us. I am upset AND baffled why AT&T would want to LOSE customers!

AT&T is not DirecTV. They are 2 separate companies. Been that way for over a year. Before making comments, you should understand the business better. AT&T made no decision!

@rockpaul The only solution is to join the 1000’s of us who decided to boycott DIRECTV after it went woke and started to attack right networks with influence from Media Matters, extremist members of congress, and a board chair who has lengthy history of supporting the Left authoritarian regime. Hopefully you have access to broadband as there are many other options out there if you do. Currently I’m enjoying FUBOTV which has great Right channels, more capability, and at a fraction of the price.
There is no sense asking them to change as they will not listen to their customers and only delete / censor opinions in these forums they do not agree with or are scared others will like. Note they closed all forums on the subject as they do not want to listen.
@ahwhite has some great posts on options as well. He left along with a large number of us during the OANN debacle. It’s sad to see people trying to cover this up with ‘failed negotiation’ as that’s not the primary reason. The extreme left regime has been trying to get DIRECTV to cancel newsmax for years. Note they allow the Clinton News Network to use their services at much cheaper rates than they charge others.
Best of luck and hope you find an alternative solution. Also, AT&T and DIRECTV are most definitely related by substantial influence from AT&T, even after the companies spun off.

It’s sad that DIRECTV customers only have one Right News station left. I feel bad for all those who rely on CNN as the stories are biased and corrupt. Note how they barely covered the BIDEN classified documents and ran news about TRUMP and Mar-A-Largo as front page stories while classified docs were found in Biden’s home, vacation home, an unsecured office, and even his personal notebook dating back to his days on the Senate. Most citizens would have lost their jobs and Possibly arrested for what he did.

DTV Mgmt Clearly despises Conservative points of view. Know that leftist hate the right sooo much that they would lose money to punish conservatives by denying them access to programming they like. Alienating half the county is righteous to Mgmt @DTV. Don't be baffled, understand that's what we are dealing with.
