Using input selector button on streaming box remote
How is it supposed to work? Have a denon avr, it shows some of the input sources but the navigation buttons don't work. Pressing the input button cycles thru the options, but pressing ok toggles pause/play on the now playing program.
It seems you can wait a few seconds and it will try to activate that input but it doesnt always work. If I hover on the media server option it pops up options for photos or music. Navigation buttons don't work and it just goes away after a bit.
Also, what is Home Dashboard? It shows some of the devices on my network, but, again, the navigation buttons don't work so I cant tell what any of the options do.
Does anywone know how this is supposed to work? Is there a manual?

The DirecTV remote cannot control those functions on your Denon AVR. You'll need to use the Denon's remote. Or a better quality universal remote, like Logitech Harmony.

Yes, I understand that the Directv Stream Device remote is not a universal remote. I am asking about the input select button on the Directv Stream Device remote, what it does, how to navigate it, and same questions about the Home Dasboard that appears as an option when you press the the Directv Stream Device remote input select button. Also, do you know if there's a manual for the Directv Stream Device remote?

The INPUT button will only control the input/source settings for some TVs.
