Unable to see 4K channels using Firestick 4k Max
Recently I was on a trip and logged into DirecTV Stream on a Roku device that was in place we were staying. I noticed something I had not seen before. There was a channel 104 and it had 4K content. Now, when I am at home I have a Fire TV Stick 4K Max. I have it plugged into an LG C1 65" 4K TV. However, I don't see that channel or any of the other 4K channels when I use the DirecTV Stream app. Is this device not compatible? Is there something I need to do to get the 4K channels?

You don't need to do anything else since 4K content will be added on Third-Party devices like ROKU, AppleTV, Amazon Fire TV, and others progressively. It has been released to Gemini, Roku, and AppleTV - FireTV for sure is in the works
