Unable to record local channels at 2nd location
With lots of help from a DIRECTV retention specialist and info gathered here, we transitioned from a Satellite account in March 2025 to a Streaming account using a Gemini Air device.
Our initial satellite service was in Arizona and we setup the streaming account before leaving the state. We are now in Colorado for the summer. I can get/view local CO channels in the line up, but am unable to record any broadcast on them with the cloud DVR. Whenever I try to a record either a program I am currently watching or one in the future, I get an error message saying the program has already aired, so it cannot be recorded. Programs aired on other channels (like TNT) are not a problem.
I spoke with DTV tech support and they sent a new Gemini Air but that did not solve the problem; I still get the same error message when trying to record off a local channel. Interestingly, recordings that were setup while in Arizona are still watchable, even though those channels no long appear in our Guide and we can't view them in real time.
The only thing I have not tried is to update our billing method, because it would be using the same credit card already on file - which is tied to our Colorado address. Or it would be another credit card with a Colorado address. There is nowhere in the account profile (that I can find) to update our physical address.
If anyone else has had this problem and solved it, I would appreciate knowing your solution.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hey @jjgAZco. The Gemini Air device uses location services to show local channels based on where you're traveling, but it can't record them. Check your billing address here How to update your payment method and pay bill | DIRECTV Support to ensure it matches with your Colorado ZIP code. If not, please update it. Contact us at DIRECTV Customer Service - Phone Support & Chat if further assistance is needed. John, DIRECTV Community Team
