Thanksgiving free preview event ad will not go away

Pulling the power plug seems to work with DTV Stream. Powering the box off and on does not work for the Showtime ad. How about just eliminating the ads that are causing the problem. 

I turned the tv off and unplugged the streaming device for about 5 minutes. It didn't help.

Then try reinstalling the app.

Thank you all for your replies/ suggestions. I ended up totally unplugging the streaming device and left it unplugged for about 4 hours. It was back to normal after I plugged it back in and out reloaded.
