Streaming Box down
My set up box hasn’t worked for the last 24 hours. No amount of rebooting, resetting, pulling the power plug in the back of the device is working. I’m at a complete loss, and paying for a blank screen. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?
The DIRECTV Stream folks aren’t even doing anything to let us know what’s going on. Very frustrating…

I am assuming you are referring to a DirecTV Stream box, not working.
If so, are your apps working?
In your settings, does it show your Network connected?

@lou_do yes. Network connection works fine. My other Smart TV has the app downloaded and works. Unfortunately the Living Room TV is an LG TV and I can’t download the DIRECTV Stream app on it. The set top box is still not working. The app on my mobile devices works just fine. So it is definitely a Gemini box issue like the DIRECTV Stream worker states.

Are any of the apps, other than DirecTV Stream app (Prime, You Tube, Max) working on your Stream Gemini box? From the Menu/Apps screen. If they are it would eliminate an issue with the Internet connection, on your Stream Gemini box.

When the set top box comes back up I’ll let you know… but, prior to this issue, most apps did work from the box. A few I had to re-enter login information every so often - maybe 90 or 120 days, but they worked and were much easier to navigate than using my tv specific remote.

@lou_do box finally came back up after hitting re-setting button for the ump-teenth time. Apps are showing but I’m not home, so I’ll test later tonight and report back.
@DIRECTVhelp my box finally came up after doing the 20 sec reset push 3times.

Where is the reset button? One of my boxes stopped working yesterday and still is not working today. I’ve tried reconnecting, different tvs, etc… still not working.

@lou_do the apps did not come back up. I had to re-login to all of our streaming apps that can be found through the set too box. Frustrating, but I anticipated that based on you text to me. Thank you.
@rachel_phelps13 Rachel- the small red button should be on the right side of the Gemini set top box.
