Setting up C71KW remote
I just subscribed to Directv Stream and ordered a new remote. It came with no information, so I started watching Youtube videos, but nothing worked for me except getting the lights at the top to blink blue-red. How do I pair it with an LG TV?

I don't have REMOTE DEVICES either. I am using a Roku currently. Is the remote I bought considered a GEMINI?

No. If you're using a Roku remote, please contact Roku customer service to pair your Roku remote with your LG TV. Learn more about how you can stream with the DIRECTV app on most Roku devices here: https://www.directv.com/support/article/000076294 Jayson, DIRECTV Community Specialist

There are no boxes used with DIRECTV stream, so what remote do I need that will allow me to change channels quickly?

You'll need to use your Roku remote to control your Roku device. If there are no number buttons, press the Top arrow for recent channels or the Down arrow to choose channels on the Guide. John, DIRECTV Community Specialist

I even tried disconnecting my Roku. Shouldn’t the remote pair up at that point?

It won't, the Gemini remote can only be paired with the Gemini Air or device. Visit Roku.com for more troubleshooting and setup videos. John, DIRECTV Community Specialist

@stats1 If you want to change channels with the C71KW remote ..get the Gemini box or Gemini Air it's meant to be used with. Yes there is a box used with Directv Stream. Or the Gemini Air. You can get the Gemini box from Walmart for 40 bucks. Other sites sell the Air but it's more expensive. They both have google play store for all your other apps as well.
