Remote Control
My Directv Stream remote does not control my Integra preamplifier even though the setup says it does. How can I fix that?

Hello @dgm1941,
We want you to maximize your DIRECTV entertainment experience by pairing the STREAM remote with your amplifier. Let's follow these steps:
1. Please access to Program Your Remote Settings (Enable ON by default)
2. Arrow down to highlight TV, the press OK
3. Type in the brand name (Integra) of the TV, the brands available begin to display.
4. Once the speaker system brand is displayed press the arrow right to select the TV brand from the list, then press OK.
5. A test begins attempting to turn up the volume on the speaker system.
6. Answer (Yes/Not Sure/No) depending on the results after realized the test if the attempt was successfully.
7. Press Exit to return to live TV or Back to return to the Settings.
Please let us know how it goes. If the issue persists, we'd like to explore further options until we find a solution.

Laura, I did what you said with negative results. When I scrolled down to TV and typed Integra, It said no devices were found. That's probably because the TV is a Epson projector and the speaker system is Integra. When I type the speaker system is Integra and the model number is DHC80-1 it responds with a green check mark and the remote now controls the sound. Except it doesn't.

Are you looking for just volume control or more than that? The remote is not a "universal" control - it can provide (somewhat limited) control over TVs and sound bars, but it (generally?) doesn't provide any control for AV receivers. If all you need is volume control and your projector supports ARC, then using that might be your best chance for the DTV remote to control it. If that isn't an option (or is inadequate control for your needs), you will probably need to explore a universal remote.
