Remote channel changing issues
I just received the new Gemini dongle receiver yesterday and everything works fine but I cannot channel jump. In other words I can only change channels with guide or channel lever control. I've tried everything and DirecTV tech was unable to find an answer. I was able to do this with my old malfunctioning Gemini reciever. But not with this new one. Any ideas?

What do you mean by channel jump? Input numbers and change it that way? Did you setup/pair the remote? I'd also try taking out the batteries and then putting them back in. Also---restart the dongle.

Yes. And Ii tried all of that. You cant manually enter numbers for the channel.

When you hit the numbers on the remote---do they popup on the screen? You have to wait a second for the dongle to change channels after the numbers pop up. Also you have to enter a number that is in your channel package.
