Osprey boxes showing on Bluetooth devices

Recently, I noticed that my Osprey boxes are showing up on my phone when I turn on Bluetooth.   They also disappear soon thereafter.    Each of the boxes is wired via Ethernet.      Why are these boxes broadcasting Bluetooth signals?   I never noticed this before now.

Bluetooth is there so that you can pair and be able to listen to audio through Bluetooth speakers or headphones.  That is why you can see it on your phone.  It will pick up any Bluetooth enable devices.  I use this at night to listen to the TV so I won't disturb anyone else.  To my knowledge, there is no way to turn this on/off on your box.  If you do not want it to try and pair with your phone turn off the Bluetooth function on your phone.

I don't have DirecTV Stream, but if they're broadcasting Bluetooth, I wonder if there's a way to watch it on TV, but use headphones (via another device like a phone or tablet) to hear the audio.

Is Bluetooth enabled on the box?

If there is a toggle for that, I don’t know where it is.

Should be under setting. Turn Bluetooth off.

There isn't a on/off toggle for Bluetooth in the Dtv Stream settings.

I believe one reason it shows up on phones..is because Chromecast is installed on the boxes. That's why it shows up on my Samsung android phone.
