Any type or brand of Bluetooth wireless headphones can be connected to the Directv Stream Box. I do this myself so I do not annoy my husband. You cannot connect the older wired headphones as there are no headphone jacks on the Directv Stream box.

Hello there! Most Bluetooth headsets brands will pair, for example, Apple's AirPods.
To properly connect your headphones to your DIRECTV STREAM box, follow the next steps:
- Menu > System > Remotes & Devices.
- At the bottom of the screen, it will search for Bluetooth devices trying to pair.
- Your device will show on the screen, and you can select "connect." It will immediately remove audio from the TV, and it will be playing through the headphones.
