Need remote assistance

Recently switched to Direct Stream.  Unit is plugged into bedroom tv and remote that came with it is great.

I have a Samsung 58 6 series – MU6070 in my living room.  The remote that came with that tv is awful and was never used.  I am being told because that is a smart tv I should use the remote that came with the tv – as I said it is awful and not user friendly and awkward.

Is there a universal remote I can use that will operate the tv and the stream service without purchasing another plug in unit.

Changing from Direct Satellite was supposed to save me money – but already I have been told that to have what I had previously is going to cost me more than what I was quoted at the AT&T store.

I may just get rid of this and do something else.
