Mobile app login

I am not able to login on my mobile app. This has been going on for a couple of weeks. I have done everything possible. Cleared cache, updated everything (app, phone, etc).. uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have done this about 10 times over the last couple of weeks. I have an Android phone. On the sign in page I put my username and password.. it just keeps looping back to the sign in page over and over. I have Directv Stream. Have had it for year and a half and this is the first time I have had an issue with signing in on my phone.

Did you have any updates since the issue started? Are you using and extensions or a VPN? Anything change since the issue started?

I do not use any extensions or VPN. My phone has had 2 updates.

What phone do you have and is the DIRECTV app fully updated? Do you have DIRECTV STREAM or DIRECTV satellite? Are you able to login in other devices such as tablets, other phones, or computers?

So it was working before the updates, right? You indicated 2 updates. Did it stop after the first or second? Anything special about the updates like permissions?

I have directv stream.. I have a pixel 4a5g phone. The only other device is my pc and do not have an issue logging in there. I am now in a DM with Directv and they are working on the problem.

It started happening after the 1st update.. I just had another update yesterday. Nothing special about the updates that I know of.. just whatever updates come from Google.

Sounds like a permission issue not allowing the app to load and kicking you back. Similar reaction on a PC when it's being blocked.

I've checked all the permissions and it says all is permitted.

You can do app info on the app, then select remove permissions and free up space. Try again.

That could be but of all the apps I have on my phone it's strange that is the only one not working.

Not saying it's not with the app. Just appear they are out of sync. Happens a lot with updates. Both parties just don't communicate. Particularly with Apple.
