Local Channel recording at remote location using DirecTV Stream Box

I am new to DirecTV stream. I have the Ultimate package and ordered 4 brand new DirecTV Stream Boxes when I set up the service.  I installed 3 of the 4 Stream Boxes at my main home in Georgia. I installed the 4th Stream Box at my second home in Maryland. The home in Georgia is my billing address for the service and was set as my "Home" network.

When I am at my second home in Maryland, and using the DirecTV Stream Box, not all of the local channels are available to view. I also can't record any of the local channels to the cloud DVR at my second home.

When I look at the Settings section of the Stream Box, the only location option I can set is if I want to change my whole account's home location, which I don't want to do. So my questions are:

  1. How do I set the Stream Box in my second home to be able to view all of the local channels for that Zip Code?
  2. How do I set the Stream Box in my second home to be able to record programs from the local channels there to the Cloud DVR?

Hello Martin! I'm happy to hear you are part of the DIRECTV family. I want to help you get your local channels at your desired location. The local channels in your area are based on your billing address. If you want to get the local channel line up and record in the Cloud DVR, you need to change your billing address or payment information for the location in Maryland. You can review this link to check how to update your payment method https://www.directv.com/support/stream/article/KM1227589. I hope you have a great day. It's working as designed. You can only record the local stations for your "home location". If your box is able to receive your actual location's local stations, you won't be able to record those.
