LG OLED65C4PUA and DirectTV Stream

I purchased the subject tv and then was told by LG that the DirectTV Stream app is NOT applicable. I am using the Gemini on an older  tv and it works fine but when I plug it into an HDMI port on the LG it indicates no signal. Does Gemini work on this tv? If so, how?

Hi @TrytoConnect. Yes, your Gemini device should work with LG TV. If you're seeing a "No Signal" message without the DIRECTV logo, it usually means that you're on the wrong TV input. Check the cables between the Gemini and the TV and select the HDMI port to which it is connected. Mohammad, DIRECTV Specialist

It did not work. I found the HDMI port it was plugged into and it still indicated No Signal

Once the Gemini is connected to the TV, you must select the correct input source. Using your TV remote, press TV Input and navigate through it until you see the DIRECTV logo displayed on the screen. Mohammad, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Perhaps a problem with that TV's HDMI input?

The input that I am using is the same port the Gemini is plugged into. It also asks to connect a cable box. I am, using streaming

HDMI input and port matches.

Check that cord is secure, free of debris, on both ends

Try a different HDMI cord as well as different HDMI input on the TV

Red button reset Gemini, unplug power from TV for a minute (no reset button)

Check to see if TV has any software/firmware updates (possible HDCP handshake issue)

Do not use 'smart' power strip or HDMI-CEC

I tried all of the ports and on one of them, the Direct TV logo showed up but after about a minute it showed no signal. The Gemini unit works fine on an older TV so it isn't the issue. I have read other post where they get intermittent signals. I am not going through the hassle and returning the tv

Fair enough, was sounding like an issue with the TV itself. Either a faulty one or perhaps just an odd setting that wasn't meshing with DirecTV.

Good luck with the next TV.

Still sounds like a TV issue.
