Is there anyway to prolong the time you are given to change a channel with the Gemini remote?

Unless I am very fast, the blue box that shows the digits you are entering into your remote when changing channels disappears and I have to start over.  Is there anyway to make the time you get to change channels longer?

No there is no way to adjust the time you are given to change the channel when directly entering the number on the remote.  Your best bet if this is an issue for you is to put it on the guide and put in the channel number you want so you have more time to press the numbers that way. Or use the voice function on the remote and tell it to change to channel whatever number you want.  Hope this helps.

DirecTV needs to fix this ASAP!!  I'm an AV Integrator dealing STBs for my clients including from the original DirecTV since 1995, Comcast/xFinity, Verizon Fios, Spectrum, etc. etc.  I have never seen such a fast "Auto-Tune' timing.

It is sub-one second - i.e. in pressing 4-6-0 for example, dialing this up if you're just pressing like a normal human with a normal cadence, you'll get channel 4 tuning up, while you see 6-0 come up and then auto-tune 60!!

I'm a tech professional and I can't always get this right and have to re-enter.

My 88 year old mother, that I was hoping to give Stream to, could never handle this...

It's so stupid, and easy to fix with a firmware update. Is there any chance that DTV will fix this??
