Installation problems on ATT streaming device

Device FINALLY finished checking updates - this took about 5 hours.  But now the device is hung up on a channel selection from yesterday?  Tried unplug, soft reset, on/off.  Now what?

Older AT&T Stream boxes sold by third party sellers may not be supported.

The box was ordered as "new" directly from ATT - I was hoping that would solve all problems. ;-)

When? AT&T and DirecTV have been separate companies for well over a year. Does the box say AT&T or DirecTV Stream?

Sorry I should have said the box was ordered new from DirecTV.  It is a C17KW-400 manufactured in Oct 2022

The next thing would be to do a factory reset on the box. If that does not resolve your problem, then you should contact DirecTV Stream and request a replacement.
