if you switch from dish to streaming, can you still feed multiple screens, using genies?  I like to watch as many as 5 screens at once (for sports).  Also, only my one, large screen is a smart tv.  The other ones don't allow for internet access.  That's why I'm wondering if you can still use the genies.

If you subscribe to DirecTV Stream you don't need any Genies. You can use whatever streaming device you like .... Roku, FireStick, AppleTV, etc.  Or you can buy DirecTV Stream devices from places like Walmart.

The Genie and Mini Genie Clients are only for satellite service.

The Gemini (C71KW) is also a Client, but has two firmware versions with one for satellite the other for DIRECTV STREAM (cannot switch firmware, must be box for that provider). The Gemini Air, dongle version that is only WiFi (no Ethernet) is just for streaming.
